The Lord Leonard and Lady Estelle Wolfson Foundation was established in 2012. Lord Wolfson’s written wishes were that his wife Estelle should continue his good work and play an important role during her lifetime in championing the work he so loved and found personally fulfilling.


During their 19 years of marriage Lord and Lady Wolfson were acknowledged as amongst the UK’s leading philanthropists providing around £35 million a year for a variety of worthy causes in the fields of scientific and medical research, education and the arts, through the Wolfson Foundation a charity established by Lord Wolfson and his parents.

Grants

The Foundation is aiming to be the forerunner in assisting preventative medicine and wellbeing in order to support and promote excellence in these fields.

The Lord Leonard and Lady Estelle Wolfson Foundation is supporting research in UK universities that strengthen the evidence base for wellbeing research in health.
